"It's a female only cult. If any of us guys go in, they will slaughter us."

In other words, a canon divergence where Coulson doesn't study up and sends the women into a cult going after a Kree fertility 0-8-4, and the SHIELD ladies all end up pregnant. But not all is as it seems, there may be more behind this surprise, and May has only begun to scratch the surface of a deeper, more intricate plot than just some extreme feminists...

Formerly titled: "Maybe it's Worth all the Crap that comes with it"

Guys I have no idea what this is. I'm really nervous about putting it out here, and If I make mistakes, they're mine and I'm sorry. I got an idea and wrote it, okay? And this will be the ONE book where I might break my personal "no cursing" rule.

DOCTOR WHO: Arising -- A Nova Sue Prequel (Part 1.5) by audisawesomesauce
13 parts Complete
{PREQUEL to my "Odd Life of Nova Sue" series} Not everybody is ready for parenthood, certainly not the Doctor. His wife, River Song, would have thought that her husband would be happy to have the chance of being a father again after many centuries of being alone, and his wife would finally have the chance of being a mother, which was a privilege her parents never had because of the events on Demons Run. When the Doctor starts to sense "abnormalities" with his and his wife's unborn daughter's health, he immediately decides to take action, and scans prove that his child may be more special than he and River had originally thought. When River is kidnapped, the Doctor never expects things to become so personal until that moment. Will he be willing to risk everything, including River Song's life and the lives of his closest friends, to save his daughter and prevent her from suffering the exact same fate as her mother? And if the rescue proves successful, will he be willing to give his daughter up in order to keep her safe from anyone who tries to take advantage of her? These could very well be the greatest and most complicated questions of the Doctor's many lives, and only his fatherly instincts can guide him to make the correct choices. --------------------------------------- Based on the BBC television show, Doctor Who. Story can be considered as Part 0.5 and Part 1.5 and links with my trilogy "The Odd Life of Nova Sue." "Part 1: Becoming" is currently out and can be found on my profile. This story, as well as the rest of the trilogy, can also be found on fanfiction.net and AO3 under the same profile name.
