Kenangan adalah bentuk ringkasan dari semua hal yang sudah terjadi dalam hidup. Sepahit apapun kisah hidup dan kisah cintamu di masa lalu,  semenyulitkan apapun perjuanganmu yang sudah kaulalui,  dan seberapa banyak apapun yang sudah kaukorbankan untuk melewati semuanya, pada masanya semua itu akan teringkas menjadi sebuah kenangan yang manis. 

Kenangan, sepenggal kata yang bisa menceritakan banyak hal, sepenggal kata yang bisa membuat kita merasakan banyak hal, dan sepenggal kata yang bisa membuat kita mengingat banyak hal.
Semua kenangan adalah manis. Tak ada yang pahit. Apalagi bila kau sudah berdamai dan ingin menceritakan semuanya kepada banyak orang. Tentramlah hidupmu di dunia. Namun, bila kau masih bersikukuh bahwa ada kenangan yang pahit. Itu menandakan bahwa kau tak pernah benar-benar tulus menjalani hidup yang sudah ditakdirkan padamu. Berdukalah hidupmu di dunia.

Bila kenangan adalah rasa yang paling manis, lantas apa rasa yang paling pahit? Bagiku, rasa yang paling pahit adalah rindu. Sebab rasanya takan hilang meski berulang kali bertemu. Apalagi kau rindu pada seseorang yang tak merindukanmu.
