Lukas Bondevik can see things that aren't there. However, the same condition led his mother to commit suicide in front on him and he has never been the same. When his brother becomes increasingly concerned about his emotional state he is sent to stay with another family for a year, his therapists hoping that a change of scenery and people are what he needs.
Arthur Kirkland has always disliked the loud, obnoxious American Alfred F. Jones from the moment they first met. In his free time he listens to his music idol who goes by the alias 'The Hero'. Could a certain serious of events change his perspective?
Matthew Williams usually helps his practically identical twin brother out. Though when Alfred was elsewhere and his brother's best friend Gilbert Beilschmidt turns up at his door, he knows that things will never be the same again as soon as he finds himself falling for him.
Finally, Emil Steilsson has spent his whole life worried over his big brother. When he's finally given a chance to start living his own life, he begins to flourish, living temporarily in a particularly noisy household. There he meets Leon Wang who helps him continue to blossom and grow in character.

Many decades later, Arthur, an angel, is captured and dragged down to hell. The King of Hell takes a great liking to said Angel, who strives to return home to heaven.
