•Set in early 19th century England• The Southwark family are your typical upper class bourgeoisie family. Well, mostly typical. Until you meet their second eldest daughter, Alice Southwark. Alice was rather ahead of her time, an opinionated young woman who lacked morals. If you hadn't known Alice you'd think she was a commoner due to her behaviour, though her clothing suggested otherwise. What will happen when she meets her polar opposite?

Hi there, I've just been playing around with the idea of Victorian historical fiction so I decided to write a Victorian story! It's about a young woman named Edith Owen and when her mother is out of work she must find a job as a servant in the home of the new lord, Lord Cornelius Tessington. However Tessington is somewhat of an...eccentric. The sort of man who is gossiped about at every part. Mad to many, everyine assumes there's not a thing that can bother this young lord. But can Edith look past the boyish nature and odd lifestyle to find something other than charm and wit deep down inside? Filled with jealousy, determination and the witty words of Cornelius Tessington I hope you enjoy! Please Read and Review!
