Here Lies the Queen

19 parts Complete Mature

Belladonna is finally settling into her role as Queen of Vearus. Her people follow her, her kingdom is flourishing, and the love of her life is with her as much as possible. That all changes after she receives an unexpected prisoner. The prisoner tells Belladonna that unless she helps her, war will come. Shaken, Belladonna asks for help. The Oracle tells her what must happen: follow her directions and you will win. However, you much choose one: the love of her life, Hunter, or her kingdom. Without the loss of one, you will not gain the other. Together, Belladonna and Hunter travel across the world, following the Oracle's directions to help them save Belladonna's kingdom. They encounter a mysterious girl, a man who is not what he seems, and the most terrifying of them all: the King of Hell, Hunter's father. This story tests your definition of the villain. Is it the one who lives with monsters, and may be one? It is the one who is willing to kill their way to the throne? That's up to you to decide.
