Mark is crazy. He could easily murder someone and sleep soundly at night.
He knows what he is capable of and tries to fight it. He had a tough childhood. His mother was a murdering, drug addict and his father abandoned him and his sister.
He and his sister got separated and when he found her, she was twelve and pregnant. The only person in his life who seems to do everything right is Mira. Mira is young, naïve and she worships the ground Mark walks on. She's a people pleaser and she seems to be the only person who doesn't see Mark's flaws. Mark is no good; he wants Mira to be no good with him. He kills for Mira. Mira would die for him.
Mark thought he had it all under control until he met Blake. Blake is everything Mark is, but a hundred times worse. Mark doesn't know whether to trust Blake or to kill him. He's drawn to Blake's evilness.
This story is about a hitman and what led him to kill for cash.
