"You're not how I thought you would be," Tammy said passing the bowl back and looking at the ceiling.
Mark hits the bowl and then put it down. "I'm just a lovable gangster, that's all. I just want to be loved."
Tammy turns on her stomach,now looking down at him. She was shocked not to see dimples or a smile. He was looking back with those void dark eyes. He didn't flinch or look away. Tammy did feel insecure looking at him. "I can't tell if you're joking or not."
Mark searched her eyes. "Maybe it's both. Sometimes things aren't black and white."
