Faye was just another librarian. She enjoyed literature and writing, especially the classics. After bumping into a stranger one night her life is completely changed. Thrusted into a world where Norse myths seem to be more than mere folklore. Faye is suddenly expected to to face gods, elves, dwarfs, giants, and all the myths of old in an attempt to prevent the second coming of Ragnarok; the end of times. Evidently Loki enjoys adding a little mischief, until certain sparks fly between two unsuspecting players in the game of the Norns. Can a hidden romance be the final downfall of the Aesir? Or is it the redemption of a key player?

His devilishly good looks and his uncanny way of making bad seem good made her fall head over heels In Love with the villain. A fight for her affections become prevalent and it comes to Blows between the two brothers. When Novell becomes unexpectedly pregnant, the wait is much to bare to see exactly who's child she is carrying. Each brother thinks it's his baby. When the baby is born, one brother will remain with her and the child and the other rages and promises death to his traitorous brother. Sigyn, queen of Vanaheim was completely unimpressed with the 'peace offering' that was currently chained up at the foot of her throne, panting and coughing on her silk robes and looking away in either frustration or humiliation. Either way, this man was clearly not as willing a peace offering as Odin had previously said. Perhaps it was the bleeding, cut eyebrow or the bruised jaw which was covered with a mouthguard that gave it away. Odin himself was standing to the side of the throne room, looking rather impressed with himself, his eyes flitting from the chained man to the unimpressed queen of Vanaheim, waiting to gauge her reaction. Sigyn allows Loki, forgotten prince of Asgard into her home and life, bonding with him and eventually allowing herself to enjoy his company, but as time goes on things become more complicated and more problems arise, but will they be solved? Or will it blow up in their faces, only to be forgotten again?
