"No." Chris held Eva's hand tightly, never wanting to let go. "Please." He begged, to the point he was already sobbing. 

Eva managed to smile up at him and whispered, "I love you."

Hands in his pockets, the handsome doctor, Chris Asher Evans, walked along the hallways of the elementary school to find his       classroom. It was noisy-- children shouting and screaming. 

When he finally reached the room, he knocked on the open door and it all became silent. The little boys and girls turned their heads towards him. But, his eyes were trained on their teacher, whose beautiful hazel orbs were also staring back at him. They drew him in. 

Slowly, Eva walked towards him. "Good morning, Sir..." She trailed off, not knowing what to call him. 

He smiled charmingly and held his hand out.  "Just call me Chris or Asher."
