it had been raining in inkopolis for days on end, which wasn't something that happened everyday. turf maps were flooded with water, and the streets were relatively empty - reserved for those who enjoyed the rain.
rider wasn't one of those people. he disliked the rain, since it prevented him from being able to do ranked matches on outdoor maps. he didn't like the way rain drenched his socks and tentacles, and he especially didn't like how it left him cold and shivering. rider didn't like it, so he was of course put in a bad mood by the weather.
however, goggles seemed to lighten his soggy mood whenever the two crossed paths. as much as rider didn't want to admit it, he enjoyed it whenever they did.
