"Okay, Liz, if I see him before we leave the mall I will ask him out." Of course I was being sarcastic, but that didn't matter to her.
We approached the doors to leave the mall and walked out. Before my eyes stood a dark haired boy leaned against a post just fifteen feet away from me. I could just see him coming up to me, grabbing me by the waist, and giving me the most passionate kiss him or I had ever experienced. Of course Liz saw him too and interrupted my day dream.
"Here's your chance! Tori, just walk over to him and ask!"
"Well technically we have already left the mall," I began, but that didn't matter to her because before I finished my thought, she was pushing me in his direction. "No no no no no no." I struggled to get loose from her grip but it was too tight, and I was forced to speak. "Hey..." I tucked my hair behind my ear trying to act like being in his presence wasn't a big deal.
"Hey." He grinned and stood up right to face us. "I don't think I ever got your name earlier."
"Tori. It's Tori. Just Tori." I gazed at him like someone hit me on the top of my head with a bat. I could see Liz in the corner of my eye shaking her head in her hands.
"Well, Just Tori, I'm Bryce."
Bryce.. Bryce. Mrs. Just Tori Bryce. It had a ring to it.

He came right in the middle of a tornadoe and managed to turn it into blue skies. He changed my perspective and gave me hope and strength." I looked at him, and he was smiling, and his eyes were a little glossy. He took my hand and kissed it, a small tear caught in the corner of his beautiful eyes. "I thought, hey, maybe life isn't so bad after all. Maybe I can finally allow myself to love and be loved, and to live life normally. When we went to your party, you told me to wait for you. But then your perverted cousin made me feel super uncomfortable, so I went looking for you, just to be able to feel at peace again. And that's when I saw it." "I don't care if you do proms or not. I'm not missing my last high school prom. You're going to prom with me and that's a period," I said in a final tone. "Nope. Still not going," He said with a smirk on his face, looking the least fazed by my ranting. I sighed, annoyed. "I hate you and I'm never talking to you again!!!" "Talk about weirdest ask out ever." Theo muttered jokingly and Kim laughed while I narrowed my eyes at them. I couldn't blame them. My situation was pathetic. "You can't be serious," Lyrik said, putting his phone into the pocket of his jeans. "Wait here. We'll be right back." Kim said as she and Theo went back to the store to finish their shopping, leaving Lyrik and I in the parking lot. "Doce." I didn't reply him, just got my phone out and started doing random things. "Come on. This is uncalled for." No reply. "Assassins don't go to prom," He said such that only I could hear since he just stated his secret Job, still trying to justify himself and i resisted the urge to roll my eyes at him. There's literally no such law. Anyone can go to prom if they want to. I heard him sigh loudly. "Fine I'll go with you, okay?" He said, pouting. Next thing I knew, I was grinning widely as i tucked my phone away. I know it was the last thing to expect from someone like Lyrik, but I guess silent treatment was his weakness. "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!" I squealed and hugged him tightly. "Yeah, whatever," He said when I let go of him, then muttered under his breath, "Even I can't understand why I do the things I do for you." *~* Aneeqa D' elvano is left alone for the whole summer due to her mom's kind of job. His rich, velvety voice sent thrills down my spine as he spoke my name. His intense, mesmerising gaze focused on mine, making it impossible to look away. As he drew me closer, his powerful arms wrapped around me, and I could feel the warmth of his breath against my skin. The aroma of his fragrance, a seductive blend of spice and musk, filled the air, making my heart race and my senses whirl. It's as if every aspect of him is intended to captivate and enchant me, keeping me completely entranced. Release me," I muttered, feeling my cheeks heat up as I stubbornly avoided his gaze. He let go like he had forgotten to do so. For a few seconds, neither of us said anything. I fiddled with the hem of my sleeve, pretending I was calm, while secretly screaming inside. Why is he just standing there? Say something, idiot! Finally, he broke the silence. "So, why were you ignoring me?" he asked in low, almost accusing. "Why would I ignore you?" I lied without flinching, acting like innocent. But he wasn't buying it. "I saw you," he said, stepping a little closer. "You ducked behind a door like you were dodging bullets. You thought I wouldn't notice?" Ugh, busted. I rolled my eyes. "Maybe I just didn't have any reason to confront you," I replied, crossing my arms as a shield against how close he was now. He leaned in slightly, smirking, "Oh, but you had plenty of reasons to hang around those guys at the swimming pool, huh?" he shot back. "I was just... talking," I said defensively. "It's called being social. You should try it sometime instead of lurking around like a spy." He chuckled, "Lurking? Please. I was just passing by. I was surprised when I saw you laughing with those guys like you were starring in some rom-com." I refuse to back down. "And what if I was?" I challenged. He didn't flinch. Instead, he tilted his head with a mock-thoughtful expression. "Then I guess I'd have to remind you... there are better options around " he said, tapping his chest casually.

It wasn't the first time someone had asked me that. "She's me sister so I do claim her. I've got a brother too, him I don't claim, he's got that whole older brother I'm always right thing." He smiles and chuckles a little. His eyes go to her. "You are a very pretty young lady." She grins and tips her head in her I'm so cute and everyone loves me way. "No she's an ugly little troll." I tease tickling her. She gives me her scrunched up fake angry look but laughs when I give it back. The guy I'd run into was watching us smiling. I blush a little. "Sorry I'm Angelo, this is my sister Anise my brother is Andy. My parents forgot about the other twenty five letters in the alphabet when they named us."He laughed. I liked to make people laugh. They'd forget about any trouble if only for a few moments and that made me feel good to know they were a little lighter as they went on about their day. He held out his hand. "I'm Zachary." "Ooh A to Z in a new way. Cool." I shake his hand and it doesn't escape me how he holds it a second longer and trails his thumb over the back of my hand. Ooh he was flirting. I give my best flirty smile. He was hot, why not. "Maybe we could hang out find new ways to go from A to Z?" I flirt. I watch his tongue sneak out and lick his lips as his eyes skim over me. "That'd be nice. Though I'm thinking you might be a little young for me." I chuckle "I might not look it but I'm legal." Just barely.
