The vikings of Torvald have always been friendly with dragons, and when they learn Berk has also accepted dragons, they send Princess Eira and her Windwalker to live among and exchange knowledge with the Berkians. Hiccup and the dragon riders accept her into their group. Upon her insistence that she can get along with any viking as well dragon, she is given Snotlout as a partner in their adventures.
