Hello, fellow human, and welcome to the world of Deltalight!
Deltalight is set in a post "pacifist" route in Deltarune. Kris, after being controlled by the player for the entire time they were in the Dark, lost control of themself and did some... pretty messed up things because of it.
This story is the result of the combination of Kris' actions and two other characters retaining their memories between the player's resets. The two other characters try to sort out what is happening to them and the town of Hometown, and attempt to stop their constant suffering. But as we all know, in Deltarune, choices never matter.
This is a headcanon of the Deltarune games, including characters from Deltarune as well as Undertale characters. I've put a lot of work and time into storyboarding, scripting, studying speech patterns of characters in their original games (don't ask), so enjoy!
