It's Only Me

"Don't TOUCH ME!" I scream, unsure of my true position in this relationship; in this interaction, even, I am confused on where I hold power. It is difficult to tell; it usually is with her. She had the most beautiful eyes and her soft voice and her hair of silk... It was all I ever needed, but it didn't excuse her. It never excused her, just like it never excused me.

"Babe, chill out for, like, two seconds. Sit down with me and let's just... talk, okay-"

My fingers twitched as my veins filled with fury. "How dare you?! I am not your 'babe' anymore and you can't DO this to me again! I'm tired of it! Sick and tired...!" My voice broke on the last syllable. I felt like shit, but that wasn't much of a change.

There's always so much drama when a new kid comes to a new school, especially a high school, but the real fun comes when the new kid is a celebrity. And more of the fun comes when she's so far back in the closet that she's almost found the way to Narnia.
