Decades after the series ended our heroes reincarnated, following very similar paths.
However, the formula for the mutation serum enabling people to develop abilities similar to those of Dixingians, had escaped the top secret laboratories and had been circulating the black market all around the world for years now. Many crimes had been linked to people with supernatural powers, thus a wave of panic and hate arose against the so-called Enhanced. As Haixing people didn't see the difference between Dixingians and the Enhanced, the Dixing had closed itself from the rest of the world once again.
When a rather controverse study about increased potential towards aggression in the Enhanced became known, Asian countries united under the so-called Enhancement Pact where every citizen proven to be Enhanced is supposed to be internated.
As a counterreaction, several groups fighting for the rights of the Enhanced became visible.
This is a story of the Chief of SID whose belief of the crime activity of the Enhanced is quite deep-seated and Professor Shen Wei, a serious advocate for the rights of the Enhanced, who meet because of a murder of one of Professor Shen Wei's students and are forced to confront their difference in opinions.
