金継ぎ (Kintsugi)

Seong Kiyomi was like any other nineteen year old, until she wasn't. After a life-changing surgery that leaves her completely deaf in her left ear and the left side of her face partially paralyzed, Kiyomi wonders if she could ever be loved. Three years later, she meets Hyunjin, a hopeless romantic who wears his heart on his sleeve and sees the world with a childlike wonder-a perspective Kiyomi had long forgotten. He's everything she aspires to be and he makes her want to be better. As their friendship deepens and her feelings grow, Kiyomi's insecurities start to hold her back. Why would anyone willingly choose a person who's been broken, who'd lost so much, when they could have someone more put together, normal and...beautiful. Kiyomi wants nothing but the best for Hyunjin, so when it comes to love he deserved better...right?
