All it took to link the past with the present was a single shard of the Shikon Jewel. Thrust into a time much before she was born and filled with supernatural creatures that most people believe to be mere myths, Hisako has no choice but to travel these unknown lands of the past whilst finding a way to get home.
On her unexpected journey, she meets many people - humans, demons and half demons - that could change her life for better or worse. Surviving alone is not an option, or so it seems after witnessing the brutality of the Feudal Era. But for a person closed off from the world and wary of those around her, it is tough to choose who to befriend, who to trust and who to protect, all the more so when what you see on the surface is not always what is truly inside.
The world is never constant though and nor are the people living in it. Changes can happen in the toughest of people, at any moment and when they are faced with a life changing situation.
But the question is, does this apply to humans, demons and half demons alike?
