A young former racer aspires to get back on the racing circuit with the help of his 1984 Toyota Celica liftback. However, he has a full-time job as an assistant mechanic at a naval base full of genetically-engineered women who have the power of World War II warships known as shipgirls.
While racing against many different cars and drivers on the Japanese streets, the driver will have to help the shipgirls fight against the strange enemy called the Abyssals.
