Jogging was part of the daily schedule of Allison Windel's life. It was a completely ordinary thing to do, until the extraordinary happened.Cameron Zander finally builds up the nerve to talk to her one morning and she blows him off due to her determination of not to get involved in a relationship until she goes to college. 
Cameron, wanting very badly to have a chance with Allison, suggests that they be just jog buddies. Allison agrees due to his persistence and her best friend's insistence. 
But as the days go by and she spends more time with him, Allison is finding it hard to stay just jog buddies with Cameron. The way he openly shows how much he likes her and the amount of things he does for her in her messed up life isn't helping matters.
Allison may be the smartest student in school, but Cameron is one problem she can't seem to find the answer to.
