It's the year 2133. World War III left the world in a complete nuclear winter. The crops were dying, the temperature was dropping, and the only way for people to survive was to go underground, which is exactly what they did. U.H.P.A. (Underground Human Preservation Alliance) is the organization that built underground cities within mountains around the globe.
Jax is a young boy who has lived in his mountain his entire life. When tragedy strikes, leaving him forced to raise himself, he grows up yearning to leave the mountain. This story is the first story in hopefully a series. It shows the adventure that Jax and his best friend, Myn, have trying to find out the truth about what the Mountains really are. I am a teen writer who would love to hear your feedback and suggestions! The description is little exaggerated because I HAD TO WRITE IT THREE TIMES, but oh well. Thank you! - Jake :)
