After the recent death of their parents, Elsa Adler and her twin sister, Anna, are dragged to New York to live with their Aunt Arriana and their cousin Rapunzel. They attend Stuyvesant High School and make many friends. Everything seems to go smoothly, until a Shadow from their past comes back to haunt them. Elsa jumps into action and becomes the Vigilante known as Frostbite and teams up with unlikely adventurers. But along the way, they learn that you either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
