"He was in the way, Y/n. He was naive to come here to negotiate. Maybe if I gave Natsu his body, he'll kill me! Imagine we could rule this world without having to fear Acnologia! Imagine that, Y/n! You'll finally get what you want! No one will have to hurt you anymore!" 

You pushed his hand away, your eyes begging him to let go of his fantasy to die, to be killed by his brother! "Zeref, he is still my family! You are starting a war you won't win! Let go of this poisonous dream! I thought we agreed we would live our lives together in peace!" No matter how much you begged and screamed at him to let this fantasy go, he shook his head in response. A small chuckle escaped his lips.
