RotG/GoC Fanfiction Writing Tips
If you've been looking for some writing advice specific to the RotG/GoC fandom and/or fanfiction in general, you're in luck! I rewrote my Wattpad guide from years ago to make it better. This guide includes information about things like centers, fandom-specific clichés, and titles and descriptions. *** All follows, votes, and comments are greatly appreciated. :) Critiques, constructive criticism, and reviews are also welcome and encouraged, as long as they aren't something purely hateful like "u suck". Take note of the word "constructive". I also posted this guide on DeviantArt and Quotev under accounts of the same username as the one I have on this website. junk journal
This is simply for the junk that doesn't have a home elsewhere. This is a home for collections of OC work, AU plots from other works of mine, cut chapters, mixed fandoms, or just insane ramblings. There is no rhythm or reason to what gets posted here or why. Updates will be as inconsistent as my brain. Each work will have a word count, short descriptions, and (if applicable) trigger warnings, included at the beginning of each work. General trigger warning themes throughout the story will include violence, language, sexual conduct, etc. Trigger warnings will be included at the beginning of each story with a full description in the comments to expand upon the specific details of each chapter. Please note that some points are unclear or implied for plot purposes, but suggested in the trigger warnings to not be overlooked. The rambling of a writer
[Me, complaining and contradicting all and everything written in every fanfiction created.] No hate, Just me, rambling about different topics in Fanfiction writing. Why? Because we all start somewhere, am I right? The good, the bad, the rightout clichès and the straight up delulu stuff. Note that I probably did most -if not all- of these things myself when writing, so be prepared of your beautiful cringefest and maybe learn a thing or two about writing a plot/story. Side note: Writing is a creative process, so... no shame in making any mistakes! We all have to start from somewhere! Side side note: Most of the things I talk about come either from my personal opinion OR from the things I've learned over the years. I've been writing since age ten and even did a Minor in creative writing whilst studying for my degree. I guarentee you, you'll either groan in annoyance ance you can see these things or you giggle at how predictable things will get once you know some writer mistakes. Prisimpad: A Guide to Wattpad, Writing, and Whatever
I will no longer be updating this guide. I'm leaving it up in case it will continue to be helpful to anyone in the future. People have asked me writing tips, Wattpad tips, and whatever. This is some of that advice I give them. Keep in mind most of this is my opinion in addition to things other people have taught me to do and not to do. How NOT to write Fandom Stories
Stop writing like that.... How To Write Marvel Fanfiction
What it says on the tin. Some ranting, some advice, some archaic reference, and a lot of cussing. My take on how I think fanfiction should be written and some of the biggest problems with it right now. Because I may not be the best at writing, but damnit I am the best at yelling about writing and rules I won't follow myself. More of a what not to do than a what to do sort of guide, really.
