A new epidemic has begun to spread around the world- and it's worse than anything previously faced. It causes people to go crazy, lose themselves, and take it upon themselves to Turn, or sometimes even kill, others. People call it "The Touched."
Bella has lost everything due to the Touched; her friends, her boyfriend, and even her mother. Nothing left to stand for, she leaves to try and save who she can. And there's only one place that can happen. It's called Tarri. A sanctuary, or safe place, if you will, where they are working on a cure. New friends, memories, and foes come face to face with her past. New romances meet old. The journey to Tarri is truly an act of survival, both physically and mentally. Now only one question remains - will she make it?
