A new epidemic has begun to spread around the world- and it's worse than anything previously faced. It causes people to go crazy, lose themselves, and take it upon themselves to Turn, or sometimes even kill, others. People call it "The Touched."
Bella has lost everything due to the Touched; her friends, her boyfriend, and even her mother. Nothing left to stand for, she leaves to try and save who she can. Here she is. I can see the slope of her spine through that thin shirt. She's made of angles I ache to smooth with a hand, but I'd use my lips if she asked. I brush her knuckles with mine.
