The Elemental Daughter

Reality is blurring for Erika. She's beginning to see things, creatures just beyond her peripheral vision, people with morphing features, and hearing whispers from people who aren't there. It isn't until she's chased down by a creature with blistering, charcoal skin that she finds herself in a wooded clearing much like the one from her dreams. And she is not alone.
An ethereal woman, Flora, claiming to be Mother Nature tells Erika a story of a world just beyond the human realm. Separated by a thinning barrier, the Treathian lands are dying, slowly being overtaken by a dark power, a power that has now set its sights on the human lands, the Gavanox.
Flora tells Erika that the elements have chosen her to protect the human world, and to stop the sickness that threatens to obliterate Treathia altogether. Flora claims that Erika is her daughter incarnate, one of five, whose mission it is to destroy the Gavanox and its leader, the Blood Demon.
Flora sends her to train with her guardians to learn how to control her influence over elements. Set on her path, Erika meets the Blood Demon and his followers, but the Blood Demon isn't all he seems, he has a story to tell too.
