For centuries, the two major races of elven witches residing in Kalak, namely The Korabaths and The Galadriels, have waged war against each other for generations. No witches from these two clans backed down from fights, and the bloodshed continues even till this date. The Korabaths, now ruled by a ruthless queen, is determined to have her rival's head on the gold platter, and the queen from the other clan is determined to fight back. Liliath seeks to continue the tradition, but Aerwyna seeks otherwise. However, this is not the only reason why Liliath is so adamant in destroying the Galadriels. Will this war carry on because of tradition, or will it continue because of a personal reason? Or perhaps, it might end because of an impossible love between the two enemies?

"You are obviously not in your respective buildings, this is because this year things will be a little different, welcome to the Balance." In a world where three kingdoms worship three different gods, with three very different ideals. The kingdom of Soladach, values strength and bravery, the brawns. The Kingdom of Deas, values beauty. The kingdom of Kialmar, values wisdom and intelligence, the brains. In an unlikely alliance brains and brawns work together, because little Deas is not so little anymore. Cahira Envis, princess of the Kingdom of Soladach, has no clue what's going on. She's the daughter to two strong Brawn's who have set high expectations for her that follow her where ever she goes. As she steps foot outside of her Kingdom for the first time she will have to face the fact that everything she has been taught will be turned on its head. Will Cahira push past what she knows and grow stronger, or will her previous knowledge hold her back from achieving success. Can she make her family proud and be the Brawn everyone expects her to be or will she crack under the pressure. Cahira can only pray to Soladach that everything will be Alright, or at least somewhat manageable. This book is a sister book to my friends! She writes as one of the other main characters Adara, but from her perspective, so if that interests you definitely check hers out! Just so you know this is the first book I have ever written so please take that into mind when reading it. Eliora May, a lifetime citizen of Maplemaw, is something many women are not. Literate. An activist. But these become hard to complete as all is stripped away from her with the coming of unexpected news. Marriage and war between the faeires and elves of Ilkaphene. A land of magic, where flowers and fungi grow as tall as their castles. Where forest creatures live in harmony. A land of peace. A land where a fairy married an elf. A fairy princess marrying an elf princess at that. Eliora begins to hear rumors of the war. How it was destroying an ethereal land. And, worst of all, how women were being silenced to prevent more "corruption". As the war and its standards begin to seep into Elvangmort, changing Eliora's home into one of constrictions, hushed whispers, and worst of all, a hatred toward women, she knows that she must do something to save her freedom and the freedoms of those around her. *** This is my submission for ONC 2025! Set in the world of Middle-earth, during the time of The Rings of Power, Melisane, the youngest sister of Finrod and Galadriel, unlike her sister's mind-reading abilities, possesses the divine gift of prophetic dreams, able to glimpse the future, past, and unseen realms. As a child, she was captivated by tales of dragons-creatures of wind, sky, and fire-and often dreamed of them, their power and grace haunting her thoughts. In the aftermath of the Elves' flight to Middle-earth, the loss of her brother Finrod, and Galadriel's departure to hunt Sauron, Melisane is left battling grief and feelings of abandonment. Despite her skill as a deadly commander and warrior, she struggles to find purpose, withdrawing from those who care for her as her dreams grow stronger. One fateful day, she stumbles upon a newly hatched, abandoned dragon-just as her dreams had foretold. Believing this moment signals a change in her destiny, Melisane takes the creature under her care. Concerned by her reclusive nature, Elrond, the Half-elven, and an old family friend, seeks her out and is shocked to find her raising the dragon. Agreeing to help her, he assumes she will eventually let it go, but their shared bond over the creature slowly rekindles their long-lost friendship-and something deeper. As shadows loom once again over Middle-earth, Melisane and Elrond must navigate the growing darkness, all while facing the uncertain futures that their hearts and dreams reveal. Will their newfound connection withstand the threats closing in, or will the starlight of their bond be consumed by the shadows? _ "You sleep coiled; tightly wound. Hands made fists beneath the pillows, clenched above cotton sheets. You are at war, even in your dreams, cenedril af fae nín. Let me help you."
