For centuries, the two major races of elven witches residing in Kalak, namely The Korabaths and The Galadriels, have waged war against each other for generations. No witches from these two clans backed down from fights, and the bloodshed continues even till this date. The Korabaths, now ruled by a ruthless queen, is determined to have her rival's head on the gold platter, and the queen from the other clan is determined to fight back. Liliath seeks to continue the tradition, but Aerwyna seeks otherwise. However, this is not the only reason why Liliath is so adamant in destroying the Galadriels. Will this war carry on because of tradition, or will it continue because of a personal reason? Or perhaps, it might end because of an impossible love between the two enemies?

Eliora May, a lifetime citizen of Maplemaw, is something many women are not. Literate. An activist. But these become hard to complete as all is stripped away from her with the coming of unexpected news. Marriage and war between the faeires and elves of Ilkaphene. A land of magic, where flowers and fungi grow as tall as their castles. Where forest creatures live in harmony. A land of peace. A land where a fairy married an elf. A fairy princess marrying an elf princess at that. Eliora begins to hear rumors of the war. How it was destroying an ethereal land. And, worst of all, how women were being silenced to prevent more "corruption". As the war and its standards begin to seep into Elvangmort, changing Eliora's home into one of constrictions, hushed whispers, and worst of all, a hatred toward women, she knows that she must do something to save her freedom and the freedoms of those around her. *** This is my submission for ONC 2025! With their mortal enemy continuing to strike the city, the people yearn for a more ruthless leader, and the brutish general Aleksandr is hellbent on seizing the crown for himself. On top of that, forbidden and deadly magic begins to blossom in Celvene's heart, threatening to unravel all she holds dear. As a child, she was captivated by tales of dragons-creatures of wind, sky, and fire-and often dreamed of them, their power and grace haunting her thoughts. In the aftermath of the Elves' flight to Middle-earth, the loss of her brother Finrod, and Galadriel's departure to hunt Sauron, Melisane is left battling grief and feelings of abandonment. Despite her skill as a deadly commander and warrior, she struggles to find purpose, withdrawing from those who care for her as her dreams grow stronger. One fateful day, she stumbles upon a newly hatched, abandoned dragon-just as her dreams had foretold. Believing this moment signals a change in her destiny, Melisane takes the creature under her care. Concerned by her reclusive nature, Elrond, the Half-elven, and an old family friend, seeks her out and is shocked to find her raising the dragon. Agreeing to help her, he assumes she will eventually let it go, but their shared bond over the creature slowly rekindles their long-lost friendship-and something deeper. As shadows loom once again over Middle-earth, Melisane and Elrond must navigate the growing darkness, all while facing the uncertain futures that their hearts and dreams reveal. Will their newfound connection withstand the threats closing in, or will the starlight of their bond be consumed by the shadows? _ "You sleep coiled; tightly wound.
