The red lights started to flicker. We heard people from other rooms screaming and doors slamming shut, like thunder on a dark, scary night. Taylor was looking around, but I just sat there staring at my plate. Suddenly, I felt a breeze pass by my neck. I looked to see the doors wide open. My eyes grew as big as they could be. I looked at Taylor. He was staring at the doors too. He turned towards me and his eyes grew, directing themselves to the side of my head.
“What’s wrong?” I asked, confused, “Is my hair messed up?” I ran my fingers through my hair. It wasn’t messed up at all. I felt a small breeze in my neck, then another… and another… and another. I froze.
“Is someone there?” I asked Taylor, scared.
“Don’t look back,” he slowly shook his head. I couldn’t listen to him. I had to act, but I was completely freaking out! This was the worst decision I could take at this moment: I slowly turned my head to my left, from where the breeze had come from. She was so close that I could feel her breath on my lower lip. She was so white, whiter than snow. She hung from the gazebo that had stood over the table as decoration. She smiled, “Hello sister.” She lunged at me, grabbing my shoulders and bringing us to meet the ground. My hand was on her face, stopping her from biting me. I tried yelling at her to stop before anything happened that any one of us would regret. I didn’t want her to die, not today, not because of me.All Rights Reserved
