In a tale spanning thousands of year, Cynthia is going to find the past meets present in mythological proportions. Studying for her PhD in Classics by a dissertation on Apollo using Ovid's the Metamorphosis, Cynthia Woodward travelled to Oxfordshire to take a look at a rarely seen manuscript. She found herself staying at a manor house of Philip Carmichael, a recluse with little to no information about him. Philip Carmichael has a history that spans far longer than most normal people. There is a part of him that is drawn to the young scholar studying Apollo, he knows deep down they share an interest in the god's story and that they are connected by fate. That's why he invited her, to meet Cynthia and to see if he was right about her.
