"I'm sorry," I said looking down at the pavement. I couldn't look at her at all. I feel too ashamed of myself. "for what?" Nicole asked. "for not standing up for you, I should've ran away with you. I should have told dad that no matter what he does, we'll stay together," tears started rolling down my cheeks, it was the very first time they did for a girl.
