It was raining in June, a common occurrence now that I'm used to it. The cabin's old wooden walls whine and cry as the wind hit against it. Protecting me from the chill. I sat calmly at the table, munching on my toasty strawberry pop tart. Looking out the window, through the trees, and past the lake, I pondered whether or not to visit the house up the woods. But most of all, is this rain ever going to stop?

I sloshed through the rain,cursing at the noises I was making. A purple light whizzed through the air,hitting the tree to my left. I swerved to the right and slammed headfirst into a tree. Gods I hate this forest, my "HOME". I flipped up off the floor and started running again "You know we can't just let you leave,at least not alive",she responds.
