"There are things that are inevitable, but always counteract one another. Light and dark, sun and rain, life and death. They are nothing without each other.
Love is nothing without loss, and dawn is nothing without dusk."

Ellie Florez is back, but she faces bigger challenges. When a new, brutal force comes into her world, it has every intention of making it crumble.

Peter Parker has no hesitation in keeping her safe, and with the help of Tony Stark, there is surely nothing that can stop him, right?

Trust is a strange thing, it can make or break any relationship. But, when you love someone, you too can be blinded by what's right in front of you.

No matter what you do, there's a beginning and an end, a dawn and a dusk. Is there still light left for Ellie, or has the darkness arrived?

Book 2 of the Golden Sunshine series. "Hey. Hey let me help." I said as I removed her hand and jacket. I close my eyes trying to get the bullet out slowly. "Just get it out." She grits and I nodded before pulling it out. I put a reality block on the shoulder to stop the bleeding and numb the pain a little. "Stay down." I said to her as I stood up just to see the soldier throw Steve over a car. "I mean it." I said to Nat as I jumped over the car running towards them. I hit the soldier behind his leg making him stumble before I adapted the classic black widow move, pinning him between my thigh and hitting his head. I didn't want to hurt him, I just wanted to incapacitate him for now. I keep hitting as he stands up, slamming me down on a vehicle, his cold metal arm squeezing my neck. What is it with bad guys and my neck? I tightened my thigh around him as I started to splutter, my hand going to his hand. My fingers find an open spot on the ridge of his arm and I send a little zap of energy through it and he flinched, taking his hand away. I kicked him in the head and he stumbles away. He shakes his head before coming for me again but Steve attacks him from behind, giving me time to catch my breath. Steve blocks the guy's punches, before flipping him over, his mask fall off. He stills, obviously pissed as I gulp before tensing up. He turns to us and my steps falter. "Bucky...?" Steve asks in shock. "Who the hell is Bucky?" ▪️▪️▪️ Follow Lisa Stark's story as she finds new friends and family and looses some. She soon realizes the past she remembers might not be what it seems.
