If Sophie had one wish, it would be for her parents to still be alive. But sadly, wishes are only a thing in fairy tales. Not real life.
But she has hope, hope that one day she will be able to think of her parents and not feel crippling pain, hope that her little brother, Tommy, will still be able to have a happy childhood.
Hope that one day she can be the carefree girl she used to be.
When a world wind that she calls Lord Emerald enters her life with his sardonic attitude that matches her own and more mood swings than a teenage girl. It really is a story for the mismatching of a life time.
