Scarlett Rhodes: a pretty, but sassy girl with a temper

Nathaniel Reyes: a cute, but arrogant player

What will happen when these two start fake dating?
                                  ****
Scarlett hadn't been back to her hometown in a while. When her mom calls her telling her that her dad is very sick, she immediately books a flight home. When she gets to her parent's house, she doesn't see anyone but a very hot stranger in her kitchen.

"Who the hell are you and where are my parents?"

He looks disinterested as he responds sarcastically, "So the prodigal daughter returns. Thanks for being so polite, my name is Nathaniel and I'm your parent's neighbor. Speaking of your parents, they're sleeping."

"Wha-oh" You look outside and see it's dark.

He smirks at me.

"Go get some sleep sweetheart."
               ****
The next day, your parents tell you that you guys have pretend to date each other so people won't think of Scar as a player. What happens when their fake relationship starts to become not so fake?

Sometimes the only way to guard your heart is to fake the play. Alexa Cavanaugh- the new girl who's just trying to fly under the radar. She's moved more times in her short life of 18 years than anyone can count. She wants to feel like she belongs. Hopefully, this is the last place her father's business takes them. She has one goal for senior year: stay invisible. But fate has other plans-starting with Jonah Manhattan, the brooding star receiver with a complicated past... and a very familiar face. A few summers back, Alexa and Jonah shared a few steamy kisses at a summer camp before they snapped back into their realities. Now that he's back into her life, he has one big request: pretend to be his girlfriend to convince his obsessive ex that he has moved on and to keep the school's attention off his crumbling home life. No strings. No Drama. One rule. Don't fall in love. Jonah is known to be distant, especially since losing his sister and dealing with a father who only knows how to bruise. A bad boy reputation and sharp tongue can only go so far when it comes to keeping eyes from wandering why he suffers more bruises than the football tackles he receives. Alexa isn't the same girl she was, and Jonah is opening up more. Walls begin to crack. As fake sparks turn dangerously real, they realize maybe this is their second chance. Will Jonah choose to protect his heart or finally let someone in? ***** Warnings: physical abuse and mental health

"We said whoever eats the most pizza has to do the dare no matter how cruel or easy it is." This is just a glimpse of our sleepovers. Ivy and Autumn always drag me into some kind of trap to do their evil dares. Tonight, they used my worst weakness, food. Sighing, "fine. I'll take the dare." They cheered and high-fived as I stood in front of them, glaring. "Better not be something bad!" I blurted, making them snap out of their cheering. They looked at me with a sinister smirk. The smirk where you know their up to something. Something bad. - Meet Jade Williams. Your average girl in every single way. She uses her weekends to binge watch on Netflix and takes her time binge snacking. In no way she would be considered perfect. Yes, sometimes she is picked on every now and then but nothing to extreme. Well despite the fact she has a crush on the most unexpected person. Bryan Jones, the schools bad-boy. He's basically a emotionless, fit brick dressed up in leather. Just your typical bad boy, right? Her life changes from late nights on Netflix to possibly going out to parties because of two guys. Conner Peterson and Bryan Jones. The most anyone can do to keep her out of trouble is to pray. Not to mention the fact that her two dearest friends are two living and breathing dare making machines. How is Jade going to make it out of her senior year alive? - -January 13th 2017- -January 29th 2017- #14 on Rising Teen Fiction -February 13th 2017- 10K Reads -February 14th 2017- #163 in TF -February 22nd 2017- #136 in TF -January 1st 2018 - 100K READS! PSA: this book, to say the very least, is not my proudest work. i made this when i didn't know a thing about writing, let alone writing a whole story. it's simply a book you'd read if you wanted a quick sap and not something in depth. feel free to check out my other books - they're arguably way better than this one
