Prologue:
Four best friends are having their weekly sleepover one night and they decide to play the game 'Bloody Mary', making sure that they're doing everything right in order to hopefully see the ghost. It's Rosie's turn to play first and she's ready to show off to her friends that the game doesn't scare her, because it doesn't work. Unfortunately for her, it all goes disastrously wrong as the unexpected happens and several unfortunate events begin to unravel in a domino-like form.  Alexandria is brutally murdered and Rosie's closest friends, Ruby and Britney, mysteriously vanish straight after Rosie plays the game and screams are heard...
