Humans and Merfolk, also called hybrids, learned to live in peace a long time ago. Humans were welcomed into to the sea, and the hybrids on land. But with one problem solved, there arose many more. Poachers and pirates ran rapid, capturing trusting hybrids for a quick buck or sick entertainment. A sad fate that fell apon many hybrids, including one young mako shark hybrid. This story tells of her struggles with coming to terms of what happend, regaining her life, and learning to trust the species who hurt her most..Man. It's lucky she won't have to travel that path alone.

After sacrificing hundreds of people for the unknown liquid to keep evolving after some test something happened that scientists themselves will call impossible. A hybrid. "A human with animal ears and tail?!" " we'll become millionaire if we sell them to black market! People will bet thousands of their money to buy one of this creatures. " " We'll just make sure the government won't know about this. " After some years of selling different kind of hybrids the government eventually know of this. They plan on stopping this kind of transactions but it's already too late. People falling in love and mating with their hybrids causing it's population to increase. The scientist's payed their crime in jail and got their head slashed off their own body. Government approve that people can take care of hybrids but can be sentenced to being put in jail for a life time if known of abusing them. Everything sounds peaceful now aren't it? No. M/n after a stressful day on his school just wanted to lay down on his bed while sipping on his hot chocolate as he watched the rain poured down on his window. But when a male neko around his age knocked on his door drenched in rain, shivering and bruised, he just need the urge to cry why things keep happening and when it happens it just need to bother him.
