When Elizabeth Fraser is admitted into the Insane Asylum in Wisconsin, she finds herself faced with one more thing to add to her insanity. Now she believes she is seeing a ghost! But what she doesn't realize it that the ghost is more then it appears to be.

While Elizabeth deals with her own paranormal conflict, her brother Nicholas, the normal one in the family, comes and visits her neighbour Ash. As Nick slowly starts to found out more about this mysterious, attractive, insane patient, he starts to fall for him. But can he deal with the crazy past that Ash has or will he easily give up on him?

And between these two love stories, a dark secret is amoung the walls of the asylum that are soon to be slowly discovered by Elizabeth, Nick, Ash and the ghost Jordan. What will happen to all of them if they aren't warned on time to escape?
