"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Nicholas will be home soon, he will stop whatever you have planned."
"He forgot to mention in that note he left, he's going to be gone until late tonight." He grinned.
"Where is he? What did you do to him?" I sounded a lot braver in my head, but all that came out was shaking sentences and shivers.
"He's going to see an old friend, I didn't do anything."
"Look, this isn't funny. I need to study, I have a test tomorrow."
"You'll be there, after..." He never finished his sentence, instead he left me hanging in suspense.
My eyes widened in horror as he pulled out a tattoo gun.
"Dante," I warned. "Don't do anything you will regret."
