However, a surprising event leads him to face his past and gives a new direction to his life. Family has always been his worst fear, but he could not have imagined even in his nightmares the situations he will have to face on his journey. This story takes place about 3 years after book number 15. Contains characters and references to events from the three Wings of Fire book series, including the Dragonslayer. So if you haven't read the books, this story might spoil their plot. A SpaceWing egg accidentally gets launched out into the vast lands of Space. It's journey through the black world seemed long, like a few years. But of course that is false, for the egg never hatched. Suddenly, when it passed the moon, a strong gravitational force sent it catapulting forwards, in the direction if Pyyrhia. At the speed it was going, it caught fire, for the friction was very strong. It landed in a desert, and the egg was cracked. The baby dragon had its eyes closed and was engulfed with flames. But a single steak of luck meant that a SandWing, coming back from her visit to the Kingdom, had reached out for the dragonet. And the most peculiar thing about this dragonet? It had no wings. Yeah, I know yet another Wings of fire fanfic, and this time the MC is a SkyWing I'm sorry, but I just wanted to try this out for myself and write this. I hope you'll like it! Desc: Gemstone knew that she wasn't unique, but her friends and even her minidress kept telling her that she was indeed memorable. she had individual orange-red scales, and while this didn't seem different if you looked closely, you could see golden veins running through them. Kestrel, one of her minders and the dragon she was closest with of the adults, thought that she had gotten firesales, but it proved that Gemstone wanted one. She could touch the others without burning them to a crisp. But all her peace and training gets interrupted by an escape plan her friends are playing. While Gemstone is an unusual dragonet, she will discover that life isn't so dull after all.
