Mia Benson is 21 years old. Olivia Benson is her mother, after giving Mia up at birth Mia searched for her at the age of 18 and finally found her. She spent two years searching for her mother and a year getting to know her. Now at 21, Olivia has sent her off to Chicago to stay with Hank Voight in hope that Hank can deal with the troubled girl and turn her into the cop Olivia wants her to be, and possibly into the Intelligence unit in the future, but its not going to be easy.
