I am ice, so cold that it burns. I am light too bright to see. The darkest night and hottest fire. Alright, so you must be thinking along the lines of Batman or something. But give me a break, I'm new to this super power business. Though I never asked to be a part of that world. A world of masked heroes flying around, preying off attention. What about the people who really needed help? They left us in the Barrens to figure out how to survive on our own. Where were our heroes? Becoming this...being, wasn't in my bucket list. But I can get them back now. I can get them all back.

The trees seemed to bend towards me. The farther I went, the darker the world seemed to get. The color also seemed to dim as I ran. But I didn't pay much attention to that. I finally came to a large clearing, near the center was an hourglass, it was made out of diamond. I walked up to it. It was so thick I could barley see inside, although I did see something inside. I reached out and touched the diamond, it seemed to melt away leaving glass. I then spotted a man about my age throwing fire at the walls. I screamed. Then I woke up. It was just a dream, right?
