Welcome to a post apocalyptic world, the human population has dwindled down and so has the drive to survive. Teenagers have been suffering from depression and death by suicide which is at an all time high. After four chemical reactor went off over the United States Louisiana has become barren. With a program set in place to make kids better from their lack of perseverance and fight.
Thalia has suffered from this new world order since the reactors busted ten years back but she has always had the power to keep her mind in check and find a reason, no matter how small, to fight to survive. what happens when Thalia and her best friend Zack are taken with their parents permission to this hospital where she's forced to endure strange exercises only to find out what they really do to "cure" them.
Will she survive and escape or will she die fighting for her life in their sick games?
