Clear Waters School of Performing Arts of Los Angeles, California - also known as a bundle of compulsive bitches with a talent - has grasped Ariana and Frankie Grande's lives and pulled them into their world of repetitive drama, stereotypes, cliques, and all the typical high school bullshit.
Arriving as a new member of their arrogant and talented society, Ariana is taken under the wings of Laura Ferguson and Miley Cyrus, an outsider and the falsely-accused school "slut", who are privy to information about the "popular" ones of the school, also known as "The Rising Fames."
Miley and Laura, who appear quiet during most classes, have the mental guide of how to cope with the relentless drama and gossip, and seem to know everything about everyone - especially the one Miley despises the most out of "The Rising Fames", Selena Gomez, for secretive reasons.
When Ariana learns about the school's talent competitions, Starstruck and Band Wars, the great chance of a record deal, and the fight for the #1 spot on the popular fame and recognition chart - controlled by the school - she struggles through life challenges, difficult dance routines, painful and reluctant twerking, straining voice lessons, and an unlikely romance with the infamous troubled and rebellious school badboy, Justin Bieber.

I was slowly waking up, licking my lips and looking around me, this room doesn't look like mine.. I started sobbing quietly getting up from the bed and picking up my little black dress from the floor, my shoes nowhere to be seen. I was so hurt, my body was hurting, my legs were weak but the pain between my legs was the worst, I put on my dress and looked at myself in the mirror. "Where are your friends Rosie?! Where are your fucking friends?" I asked myself, then I noticed a couple hickeys in my neck "Bastard!" Harry and Ariana are trying to date while they're on their breaks from working, but things have been getting a little messed up. Every summer there is a talent show at Lava Springs that Camila seems to always win every year. Ally has written a song for Harry and Ariana and everyone does want them to do it for the talent show. Camila doesn't like the idea, so she tries to spend as much time as she can with Harry to break up his and Ariana's relationship. Ariana gets to spend more time with Camila's brother Liam then with Harry. One night, Ariana and Camila get into a fight and Harry overhears Ariana thinking that she might quit working at Lava Springs. He as well thought that Ariana has broken up with him. On the day of the talent show, Harry gets to sing with someone but he doesn't know who it is.
