When Ariana learns about the school's talent competitions, Starstruck and Band Wars, the great chance of a record deal, and the fight for the #1 spot on the popular fame and recognition chart - controlled by the school - she struggles through life challenges, difficult dance routines, painful and reluctant twerking, straining voice lessons, and an unlikely romance with the infamous troubled and rebellious school badboy, Justin Bieber.
