I used to tell other kids that my dad was a super villain, and they thought it was cool. I just thought it was a good way to explain why he wasn't around. I didn't know at the time how true that statement actually was, until the day he found me. My dad really was what one might call a super villain, but not like the ones you see on TV. My dad was much worse. And finding that out changed everything.
