The Timekeeper

Before I tell you my story, I need you to do something for me.
Forget everything you've ever imagined time travel to be. Forget any tv shows, or books, or movies, or whatever concepts of the idea of time travel have been told to you. They're all wrong.
Well fine, not completely wrong. Some of them are a bit close. But we all know certain stories about magic telephone boxes and flying DeLoreans are too outlandish to be true.
Honestly before this crazy adventure started, I didn't believe time travel existed. I thought it was a fun plot element in stories I liked to hear, but of course I never thought something that sounded so ridiculous could be true.
You can read this entire account of mine and come away from it, saying I wrote this for fun, or that I'm seeking attention, or that I had a fun dream and wanted to write about it.
