She was the daughter of Thranduil, the King of the Elves of Northern Mirkwood and sister to the prince of the Woodland Realm, Legolas Greenleaf. One day, Daenerys was out in the woods practicing her archery with her brother and best friend, Tauriel, when she was captured and enslaved by the most powerful orc, Azog The Defiler. After years of torture and enslavement, the she-elf managed to escape the orcs and spent twenty years hunting in the woods. However, one night, she came across Gandalf the Grey, a powerful wizard whom searched for an adventure; he was looking for a certain she-elf to accompany him and thirteen dwarves, as well as a Hobbit, on a quest to retake their homeland Erabor.
