FIND OUT WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF.

Lucy Cooper isn't looking for love when she finds it-or slams into it, rather-during rush hour traffic. But her heart, like her car, is a total loss the moment West Adler steps out of his truck to inspect the damage.

West truly is the perfect guy: handsome, funny, rich. The benefactor of not one, but two children's hospitals. And he's the main sponsor of the Music City Rollers, Nashville's championship roller derby team.

When Lucy discovers the Rollers are actively recruiting "Fresh Meat," she puts her life on the line to catch West Adler's attention. But will accident-prone Lucy skate off with the heart of Nashville's Most Eligible Bachelor? Or will she get herself killed in a sport that promises, "It's not a matter of if you'll get hurt-but of how bad and when."

Not every blonde is stupid. In the South if you're a beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed girl high expectations are made. Either you're not extremely smart, so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. Or you are smart and you just pretend to be dumb so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. All her life Avery Skinner has been told what to do and how to do it- by everyone. By her mother, the girls she calls friends, the guys in school, teachers, family, even Mark the mailman. Needless to say, she's sick of it. Its time Avery took control of her life or at least get a firm grip on the sucker. She's loved football ever since she was a little girl. Yet she could never play because ladies aren't supposed to do such barbaric things. Especially in the South- unless its a rodeo and you're wearing those ridiculously tight outfits that show you're navel or showing you can hold your liquor. Avery has longed to be on the field, throwing the ball instead of cheering on the team her dad coaches that can't seem to win. Then her best friend Austin forces Avery to and for sometime everyone is fooled. But the truth can only be hidden for so long. The moment the townsfolk of Stonehenge, Alabama learned it was a girl under that helmet, was the moment true colors showed. It hasn't been easy and it won't get any better but Avery is here to play. * Avery is going to face REAL life problems, and not nice people. She's going to deal with sexual harassment, mean words, rude people, pregnancy, injuries, steroids, etc.. In this story I want to exemplify how sexist and cruel humans can be. There will be hard moments, but I want to put it out there because it IS a serious problem. Harsh language and such will be present. You have been warned, don't read it then complain. "I already killed your mother, Cam." As the words left my enemy's mouth like a mocking sneer, I growled under my breath at the mention of my old name. Memories started to boil up that I had been wanting to squash deep into my heart. Bad memories. "As you can guess, I'm here to finish the job." He continued with that ever-present sinister smirk on his face. And in that moment, a sudden burst of confidence just appeared within me. Or blatant stupidity. 'I'll take either one.' I silently admitted to myself. I rolled my eyes at his so-called 'threat', not really intimidated in the least. "Yeah, like that went so well the first time. The first time, you fucked up enough to get caught by the police." I pointed out. "The second time, your grown-ass men got their asses handed to them by two teenagers." I snorted at him. "Your odds aren't looking too good here, Berti." ~•~ Losing her father? Lovely. Getting in a car accident with her aunt, uncle, and cousin and being the sole survivor? Fantastic. Losing her mother because a deranged psychopath holds a grudge even better than The Grinch? Amazing. Being ostracized from her own family save from her paternal grandparents, and getting the blame for her mother's death? Cherry on top of the cake. Having to make sure three idiotic twats don't get themselves killed because they couldn't mind their own bloody business? Bloody hell, that's an entire ice cream cake with ten pounds of gummy bears. ~•~ Join Grace Stanton as she faces her demons and the demons of her past all while trying not to commit murder against her three new friends. Fun times. (First book in the Gilded series) ~•~ [#1 Streetracer - 4/21/21] [#1 Gangs - 9/16/21] [#1 Boxer - 9/12/21] [#1 Fighter - 12/11/21] [#2 Boxing - 9/3/21] [#1 Girlpower - 2/12/21]

This book needs editing, the first chapters aren't very good, but the story gets better as you read on! There was only one thing that Amelia White needed to do. Be invisible and never draw the attention of five boys. She has been avoiding them ever since she knew who they were, and she's not planning to be part of the game those boys play. At least, that was the plan until her feet changed it for her. Bumping into Caine Williams is not exactly the way you stay unnoticeable for those boys. She detests an emotionless, narcissistic, and selfish asshole. He's the most attractive boy she's ever seen, but he has a terrible personality. Everything just seems like a joke to him. Hopefully, this journey of heated conversations and stupid fights turns out to be positive, and there's no need for any more hearts to shatter. Nevertheless, bad boys are unpredictable and dangerous, and there will be no insurance for broken hearts and unfixable relationships. But there's no need for insurance if the hate Amelia feels towards him is stronger than the tiny piece of possible love she feels in her heart, right? Caine will definitely regret opening the chase on her when he finds out it's not worth it. At least, that was what Amelia thought. Bumping into Caine Williams was certainly not the plan. That's the only thing that's for sure. Amelia knows that she can say goodbye to the plan of staying invisible, thanks to her clumsiness, and she'll have to say hello to his world with trouble and problems. You didn't think he would let her be, now would you? ©JosephineFlorence, All rights reserved

UNEDITED Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path. Those are the words that Justin McCallister has been repeating in his mind since the day he was diagnosed with a non-cancerous brain tumour that's been causing partial seizures for the past five years of his life. Partial seizures that can't seem to be controlled by every epileptic medication he takes. It's caused him to push everyone away. He refuses to become friends with anyone because he knows, from personal experience, that they're eventually going to leave him behind due to his circumstances. He knows that no matter where someone stands in your life, be it family members or friends, they will find a way to stab you in the back. And after experiencing the divorce and complicated situation his parents went through, he's determined to avoid girls because he believes love is foolish and volatile. Bring Adelaide "Addie" Levesque into the picture. She's a smart, beautiful girl that has a strong sense of direction, knows where she belongs, and wishes that she could have an epic love story like the one her parents share. But beneath her confidence, she's scared. She doesn't know what she wants to do after high school and it scares her. On top of that, none of the boys can't seem to understand her for who she is. Everything changes when they meet. Addie finds the situation to be painfully cliche, but she can't help but be curious about the new boy in her class. She wants to know why he keeps his hood up and earbuds in during lectures. Justin knows he should stay away from her, but there's something about her that begs for his attention. She's sweet and charming, but the problem is, he doesn't want to delve deep into his past with her. He doesn't want to reveal the ugly truth about who he is beneath the act. As Justin and Addie go through their final year of high school, the realize you never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
