The entire Human population decreased rapidly after an unknown disease infected Earth. The disease spread through water and produce. 17 year old Layla Mason witnessed the true horrors of this dreadful outbreak. Her own mother was infected. She now faces the terror and hardships of this change by herself, with her dog Sheila at her side. Will Layla overcome her fears and trust issues and find shelter within the arms of others? Or will she continue to try and survive on her own with this mysterious disease forcing violence on those infected.
