An introverted, recluse gamer accidentally finds out she's the reincarnation of a Greek god/goddess, and is stuck in a world-altering time-loop until she figures out WHICH god/goddess she's destined to become. ***** Ophelia Jones is...well, she's nothing. She asks for nothing. She WANTS nothing. Just to stay in her dark basement-apartment, do her mindless data-entering job by day, play video games by night. She refuses to participate in a real social life, and won't read the news or be active in the LGTBQIA+ scene that she belongs in. No, Ophelia is done giving a sh**. She'd rather live in her fantasy world, ignoring the real world around her. That is, until a mysterious puddle surfaces in her backyard, and she jokingly wonders if it'll be a portal to another world, someplace better - and she falls into it. Oh, she's transported to a new world, all right -- but not a parallel world or an alternate universe. She's transported to the past; into mythology, specifically. Greek mythology, to be even more exact. Because according to Alfie, her "spiritual guide", she's a reincarnated god or goddess, and has to figure out who. Problem? The stories of the past always fascinated you. Particularly, stories about how ancient people saw the world, how they interpreted what was happening and why. This is what led you to Greek mythology. Now, you never believed in Greek mythology, or any religions to be honest. But honoring it brought comfort to you. Or maybe it was just doing weird rituals, to be honest. You were still doing weird rituals before you got into mythology. But either way, this is what led you to the incident. One moment, you are worshiping your wizard Furby that you jokingly call "The Oracle", and the next you find yourself in Mount. Olympus, home of the gods. A/N: I don't usually write straight people so we'll see how long it takes before I cave and Y/N starts crushing on all the goddesses

Gods And Goddesses (And Aliens)
The Greek gods in general honestly don't mind modern times. Sure, a whole lot less people believe in them, and that greatly reduces their powers, but it saves them time since they don't have to talk to priestesses, or help heroes kill monsters, or make earthquakes to swallow pesky mortals. But one day, in the middle of breakfast (I know, right? The blasphemy) aliens arrive. And the aliens have their own gods. And their gods are stronger, because the aliens actually believe in them. And so a mix of different gods from different pantheons embark on a quest to make humanity believe in them again. Unfortunately, times have changed, and that won't be as easy as it was thousands of years ago.
