Fabian Adefemi Afolami suffers from depression, anxiety and a series of addictions. He struggles to come to terms with his father's terminal illness and the contingency that he could very well be his only living successor. It's too much burden for him. He has to once again discard his aspirations to prove his love to his father. With these responsibilities on his shoulders, he strives to find the balance. But his world comes to a standstill when his past comes back to goad him again.

After the passing of her mother, Zemira realises she now has the sole accountability of catering to her brother's need. But a secondary school certificate, dreadlocks, piercings and conspicuous ink isn't much qualification. She discards her musical aspirations and takes to the streets for the hustle and bustle even if it means she has to do it like the men. She tries to remain true to herself while weathering the storm but her razor sharp tongue is what will plunge her into trouble with a very dangerous man.

This is Fabian's story; a spinoff from Rugged To The Core. You do not have read Rugged To The Core to understand this.

26 parts Complete Mature
A collection of short stories 1) THABISA Tunde is gay, and Jabulani has his eyes on him. Angry eyes, filled with weird desires. All his life, Tunde has felt bound with shackles, longing to taste freedom. Real freedom---to walk down the streets, smiling, with a regular heartbeat, and without fearing for his life. Tunde finds himself in South Africa at the worst time possible---a time the Saffas frown heavily upon Nigerians. He should stay low and try to stay hidden, but first he has to get Jabulani off his back. Right after he figures out what exactly Jabulani wants from him. 2) YOUR WIFE: You think your wife is cheating on you. All the signs are there, and she doesn't even talk to you anymore. But you have to investigate. You need to know the truth---what she does when you're away; why she spends so long in the bathroom. You have to know the truth---even if it destroys you. 3) JONATHAN: Funmi has no friends. None at all. Not even the rats pay her any attention, and she feels all alone in the prison that is her mind. No one would talk to her---no one, save Jonathan. It's always been Jonathan, by her side for ten years past. Funmi does not mind. Jonathan is smart. He has a charming smile, with a silver dagger up his sleeves, and he is never going to let her be alone. Ever again. 4) JONATHAN (SEE QUELLING): After yet another sedation, Funmi slumps into a dark realm, trapped in a space darker than anything she has ever known-here, all her dirty secrets and deepest fears take precedence. Something hunts her too, from ages long before her birth, and Funmi knows she can't outrun it. It will catch her, and it will kill her. But Jonathan stands by her side, emerged from the darkness, so maybe there is hope. He offers her a helping hand, while clutching a dagger in his other hand, and all she has to do to survive is trust him. 5) THAT SUNDAY

And how to love in multiple ways. Opening his heart and mind to the world and people around him. Rated mature for: Swearing Mature concepts Violence This book is dedicated to everyone who inspired me, encouraged me and stuck by me while I debated giving up on the concept for this book altogether. You all know who you are... I wanted to tell a story that breaks the norm to some aspect. Where the main character is a boy, not a girl. Where he is not perfect. And where he is even a - not bad - but does bad things sometimes. It's a story of coming into yourself and forging your own path. Despite how hard that path can be to walk. Choices you face, how you'll react to them. What to do when you've done something bad and how you can fix it. If you should fix it. Each choice you make - weather you realize it or not - forges the person you are. For every door you close another one is waiting to be opened. This is not a perfect story, but it's one I want to tell. One that comes from a personal place in my heart and one that is born in reality and bathed in fantasy. This story will deal with aspects of both worlds. And sometimes touch on heavier topics. Be prepared, to read about a character who is the farthest thing from perfect. But he doesn't need to be. He just needs to be himself. Oh, how hard that truly is.
