Dabi and Touya are two different people to Shouto, and Dabi wants to keep it that way. He left for his own reasons and is now a high ranked villain. With a throwaway phone, he sends Shouto a happy birthday text signed Touya just to show him his brother still cares for him after years of silence. He plans to burn the phone afterward, but when Shouto texts him back they start to rebuild their relationship through secret phone calls and text messages and it makes Dabi regret a lot of things along with wanting to be Touya once again.

Dabi is apprehended by the police and several heroes. Once they interrogate for what little information they could, fingerprints and DNA samples were taken. Overcoming the heavy resistance from him, even with restraints on, the truth of Dabi's identity is revealed. His black dye is washed out and the todoroki family is notified for the investigation of this case. After years, Shouto comes face to face with his oldest brother, Touya Todoroki. This is a brotherly love type of fanfic, yes I do with the Touya theory and this will not contain any explicit moments, or any implied romantic relationships, it focuses on Dabi and Shouto being bros. The family is aware of him being an underground hero. Dabi did it as a form of protest against his father since he wanted him to go into the spotlight but refused and went underground heroics. The family doesn't know his undercover look or name but he does return home often when he can. (He does not have the scars permanently. They are due to a quirk that changes his looks.)
